"Mummy yeh nikal jaayega pakka"
"Mummy yeh pressed nhi hai"
This is one day when you wish you had all the mummies in the world there to help you.
2. Constantly asking your friends for updates
"Oye, tune baal set kara liye?"
"Yaar green waali achi nhi lagg rhi thi , red sari pehen rhi hun"
3. Wearing heels!!!!!
The multiple exclamation marks because most girls wear heels for the first time infront of their school friends..and then the balancing act along with the sari starts..
4. "Blouse thoda deep toh nhi"
Especially if you have studied in a Convent School at some point of time. Almost every school has a story of some female senior being told by the Principal that her blouse was a tad bit too short..infront of the entire batch!
5. "Arre yeh Makeup kaise lagega"
If blush, mascara, eyeliner and foundation were all alien words to you till now be prepared to witness them all now..on your face..!(literally) And then the constant licking of lips/wiping with tissue/ not being able to recognise yourself in the mirror starts!
6. "I hope he sees me and falls in love immediately"
So looking beautiful on this day is every girl's dream, sadly, so is it every guy's dream..in all probability he would be too busy admiring himself.
7. "Bas woh merse zyada achi nhi lagni chahiye"
"Hey bhagwaan koi ladki same colour na pehne"
Soon after realising that the boys are not bothered, the girls notice eachother, and then the laser eyes are out.
8. Keeping a seat for your Bestie
"Arre kahan reh gayi yeh..jaldi aa bhyi"
9. Eating
So makeup, sari, heels and a matching handbag to handle together, but the most troublesome of them all is Lipstick while eating your farewell lunch
*Constantly checking teeth in front camera*
10. Being the "Dream Girl"
Getting out of the car and hoping that your sari's pallu is flying in the air and "Teri Ore" playing in the background with everyone just looking at you.
Whatever may have your farewell been like/ is going to be like, the most important thing is that you have memories to treasure on this last day of your 14 years of school life!
